Motor Trend tested the Integra and these were their numbers:

• 0-60 mph - 7.7 seconds
• 1/4 mile - 15.7 seconds at 91 mph

Even with a six-speed stick, the new Integra isn’t a hot hatchback. Still, its value, features, and efficiency make it a good small luxury car.

Pauses introduced by clutch and shifter actuation are factors in the Integra's 7.7-second 0-60-mph time. All of its two-pedal rivals do the sprint in less than 7.0 seconds. Likewise, the Integra crosses the quarter mile in 15.7 seconds at 91.0 mph, trailing many of its adversaries in both metrics. Even so, the engine feels strong for its size, delivering a torquey surge on-boost that's accentuated by little wastegate whistles. What's more, its fuel economy rating of 26/36 mpg city/highway tops many of the 2.0-liter mills common in the set.

One of the other reviewers got 6.6 in 0-60. Lots of variance here. I think it's safe to say it's about a 7 second car, for whatever that's worth. I doubt my wife will let me take hers to the drag strip (once it arrives).

For those who are all about the MT, that variance is part of the love of the manual. Your car is only as fast and can only shift as fast as you. There are no software upgrades or coding or flashing that will fix it. It's about skill and the ability to be consistent. Can't just put it in sport mode, select launch control, then shoot out the hole. I'm sure someone can get lower than 6.6 seconds as well.

Maybe one day I'll take mine out to the drag strip.

Maybe it's no longer the case, but I learned early on to not rest my hand on the shifter - only touch it when I'm shifting.

Having to shift into 3rd gear for a 0-60 time will always look bad on paper. Preludes in the past also had the same problem - top of 2nd gear is 58mph.
