Do CAIs offer much benefit on turbocharged cars?

Nope, not on any modern cars. They are very optimized nowadays. But if you really want to do something to your new car today or are just in the habit of doing this to your cars, well everyone needs a hobby. And they can sound different and that excites some folks. I have done it.

Seeing one on a potential buy would make me wonder what else has been tinkered with.

And there is the real danger of starting with an intake and winding up with a track only car and a trailer and tow vehicle. Ask me how I know.

I hear you. What I would like to do is make the exhaust a little bit louder. I’ve noticed under load that the Integra has some nice rumble…heard a few crackles too. Just wish they were more pronounced.
