I sort of assumed this would be my last manual car, but I’m holding out on EV until it’s way more mature. So for me, it just means my next car probably won’t be an Acura. But hell of a way to say by to ICE!
Same with me. I looked high and low and could not find anything that fits the bill for me with a manual. It seems in the last two years (last time I seriously considered a manual) the manual market has shrunk in several orders of magnitude:(

Happy I did not commit to an SI. The Integra seems to check most of the checkboxes the SI did not.

What if the integra type s will be electrified in some way
I would be cool with it. Porsche has done it with the 918 and the new MB C63 is a 4-cylinder hybrid making over 500hp. Im sure there are other examples that can be referenced but clearly a hybrid powertrain for performance purposes is very doable. Hopefully a manual transmission will still be available. Honda did it with the CRZ so once again...we know its doable.

I keep telling everyone that still bothers to listen to me, I either want to drive my car, or I want the car to drive me. I'm buying a manual transmission car, and I know that it is going to look terribly dated in a few years when everyone is driving around with hybrids and electrics, but I would rather have the last of something instead of one of the early iterations of something new. I also don't really want a hybrid, seems to me like pairing two power sources is just asking for maintenance, weight and complexity. I would much prefer an all electric once batteries become a commodity and are quick and easy to replace like the Chinese seem to be pushing.
