Hey guys new to the forum. I just took delivery of my new a spec tech package integra a couple days ago and notice that they put the wrong ac unit in my car meaning no dual climate or mode button (mode knob does nothing). Has this happen to anyone? Got the unit replaced. I just thought it was weird that this made it through QC.

yea I got the wrong rearview mirror. They definitely have been mixing parts with other Acura vehicles.

I love it so far besides the mishap, literally went through a check list to see if I have everything as far advertised lol. I traded my Audi s5 b9 for the integra because I’m trying to buy my first home next year and I have to say I love it. So far I’m averaging 36 mpg mostly highway. Looking forward for upcoming mods in the future.

So refreshing to hear that you don't regret the move to an Integra from the S5. I recently totalled my stage 2 2017 Golf R and I was originally going to get a S3 v8 or the S5 b9. Pulled the trigger on a MT Integra and am picking it up on Monday. How are you coping with the big difference in power?

I mean it’s huge difference in power, I do sometimes miss it but I’ve gotten over it pretty quick.

As a supply chain guy, I'm guessing it was a supplier error. They put the wrong label on the package and shipped it incorrectly, so it got installed. I'm assuming the same wiring harness, so plug and play.
Yep should have been caught by QC, but probably not at the top of things they are looking for.

For those with the A-spec package, did you get the old USB A type ports in the rear? I thought they were supposed to come with USB C ports. I contacted my dealer and I'm waiting to hear back about this.

USB-A in the back. I think maybe they were C on a single preproduction car they showed to press but the production ones are USB-A

edit: see this thread on the other forum Curb Weight of Integra A-Spec w/ Tech: 3,073 lbs (manual) and 3,150 lbs (CVT)! [OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED]

Edit 2: this video shows USB-C ports in the back

(about 13:00) but they changed the spec sheet in April/May to say USB-A
