After my ‘93 Mazda B2600i Manual trans truck nearly tripped the lemon law limit, and hearing the same horror stories from friends with other Mazda models, I would not dare hope for reliability from that brand. The Miata is an exception to an extent. They seem to run so hot. The valve cover wouldn’t stay on. I disclosed all and sold it to a mechanic.
