The FL5 should look way better than the FK8 in Championship White.

Today I learned Championship White has a cult-like following in the Type R community--who knew? I was previously expecting the Type R to be offered in Platinum White Pearl like the rest of the Honda lineup and had a deposit on one--I think the FL5 will look better than the FK8 in nearly any color, but I don't love Championship White, myself. White cars are tough to keep clean, but Championship White always seems a little grimy when I see it in the wild. Maybe I haven't seen one clean-clean, or in the right conditions, but there's just something I'm not crazy about in that warm white. Maybe it's all that contrasting matte plastic on the FK8? I nearly bought an FK8 in black just because it hid it (somewhat).

Then again, it could depend on the car--my Integra is PWP, and so is my wife's Pilot, but you'd think they went overboard with the flake in mine. Not gonna lie though, I love it.

I'm part of that cult, but trying to venture out. Boost Blue is what I might go for. It should also be one of the easier to maintain.
It also looks very cool here already.
