That looks good. They went back to a simple design. As old as I am, I can't pull off the rice racer look the way I used to be able to in 80s and 90s. The previous model type r would make me look like someone's grandpa driving their grandkid's car. I like the the simple lines of the car. I hope the US model is the same.

Now the question is, what are the implications of this on the Integra Type S?

I really tried to like the Gen 10 R but all those fake vents were like a bad joke. This car is not trying too hard like the Gen 10, A more relaxed effort has worked out much better.

I think they nailed the exterior on this car, and love almost everything about the interior--I'm not digging the red carpeting on the floor. Don't get me wrong, I got a White/Red Integra, so I have no issues with high contrast, but who's getting one of these without all-season mats, and who's making red all-season mats? Maybe Honda will. They definitely should.

Even with that cosmetic issue, I'd happily drive the new Type R--they did a great job. Eager to see how much power they're getting out of it!
