2024 Acura Integra Type S "Launch Edition"

I received a call from my Acura dealership today (04/13/2023). Supposedly there will be a mandatory list of dealer accessories for the first round of cars, that they claim to be the "Launch Edition". Please see the list of mandatory accessories that I was provided by my dealership:

Essentially it sounds like this particular dealership plans to order and install every dealer accessory on their first car no matter what I want. Buyer beware and please comment if you are hearing something similar.

Would you pay $6,000 in accesories to have the first ITS if that means no ADM?

I want to be as clear as possible--this is one single dealership taking $3,650 in stuff that you may (probably) not want, and charging you an extra $2,200 for them to put it all on the car, then trying to convince you they've got no choice, it's mandatory. This isn't Acura's doing, they'll have no "Launch Edition", this is your dealership hunting for a creative way to squeeze an extra $6,000 out of you (or the next guy willing to pay it).

They're marking up $18 valve stem covers--I don't know you, but I reckon if you can figure out a clutch, you can manage with your own DIY valve stem cover install. This is ridiculous.

(And they may have sold THEIR first round of Integras last year with this "Launch Edition" package, but Acura didn't--anything beyond MSRP, docs, title, and tax is a markup unless it's something you specifically request.)

I have edited the original post to add clarity.

Much appreciated! These guys are crazy, and no, I wouldn't pay for $6k in accessories to get their first Type-S, especially since most of those accessories are things I have zero interest in having.

You should let them know they missed the trunk liner and rear seatback protector--that'll easily get them to $6,500 with what they're charging for install. All the velcro for the seatback protector was awfully tricky.

I spoke to 2 dealership and they both said they same thing in regards to them receiving their own Demo model which will have ALL the accessories. They said all the rest will NOT have any accessories and will all be optioned by the customer if wanted. They said that Demo will have to be at the dealership for 30 or 60 days before they can sell it. It will be what they use to showcase the car with all accessories on it but the rest will not come with any from the factory and will be dealer add-ons as customer request. Just sharing what I heard from 2 dealerships.
