Liquid carbon looks great, top choice for myself right now. Beautiful car man, hope you're enjoying it so far!
The car is great. Took a bit for the driver's seat to break in (they are firm) but after 1000 miles, it feels good. Otherwise, the car is a lot of fun. Just getting past the break in stage so I haven't really opened it up but no complaints at all. It does remind you of the old GSR's, Mitsu Eclipse, etc.......quick (not FAST) with great feel, an outstanding tranny and very easy to drive. I used to own both in my younger years and this is reminiscent of them. The exception being the turbo engine has a much different feel with its boost range and pull at the lower end. The GSR was a wind-up toy, you never ran out of RPM's but it didn't have much grunt. You won't regret getting one.

The GSR comparison bodes great for the car and exactly what I'd want from this platform. I won't lie though, I'm trying to wait for the Type S because it's just aggressive enough styling to me to be fun but not too much (like the Type R still is). That plus I want to track it a few times during my ownership, but in the end it probably won't be worth giving up what you're getting in fuel savings :D

Yeah, the type S was very tempting to wait for. But this is my daily driver, I commute 70+ miles a day and I don't want to even think about the markup nor the wait time to get one. I had a dealer nearby that had this in stock (not spoken for), setup my deal over the phone without any games and held the car for 5 days until I could head over. I couldn't pass it up. I'm sure I'll play around to squeeze a bit more juice out of it (intake, exhaust, Hondata tune, clutch) in the future but I'll wait till the warranty is closer to ending. With the mileage I drive, it won't be long.....so I'll take things slow in the upgrade process.

Completely understand that and definitely respect it. In the current market environment probably the wise decision. Especially if the auto market stays inflated but with the way rates are going I can't see it being resilient forever. Hopefully we'll see dealers start coming to earth eventually, but used market needs to get adjusted first.
