I had some pretty sweet Yokohama Advan Flevas on my GD3 Fit! They were nice and sticky, but they were also on 15" wheels on a considerably smaller car. The Pilot Sport 4S tires that come on the Elantra N are pretty serious tires, though they are also kind of pricey. Will be curious to see what others do; my first order of business is to get a dedicated set of snow tires, and I'll probably stick with the all-seasons for a bit until they wear down, but the end goal is to have a dedicated winter wheelset and a summer wheelset.

Kinda toying with the idea of eventually getting a downsized wheel (17") and a beefier sidewall on a summer tire. Might be a silly idea, but it might be more forgiving over New England roads and it could look sweet depending on the wheel. And as long as it doesn't sacrifice too much in the way of handling, even better.

I like to get the next best thing which is Ultra High Performance All Season tires. I tried to look at a close up of some of the pictures. I did see at least one of them was readable on an ASpec trim and the 18" wheel had a tire from Continental on it. I couldn't see what model tire it was though. I sure hope it isn't one of those gas mileage ones.

I believe they are ContiProContact all-season touring tires, but I am not 100% sure.

You are correct if what they had on this Aspec model in Dallas a few months back is what we are getting.

I’ll go with a Michelin Pilot Sport 4S most likely. I haven’t tried them, but they are highly rated and I did like the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ I had on my Volvo. They are a bit pricier, but it’s not bad considering I don’t expect to get tires that often.
Although if I continue to work from home, low treadwear won’t be a big deal so I may consider an extreme performance tire like the Hankook Ventus RS-4.

That's probably the best recommendation, especially for those living in areas with weather that fluctuates enough to where summer tires might not exactly be suitable.

The ECS tires are good to go. Not quite as good as the Pilot Sport 4S but nearly as good for a little bit less money. The new ECS 2s are supposed to be out now, and Tire Rack actually has them cheaper than the original ECS.
