Welcome to the forum. That's what I am thinking as well. There are no exterior design changes to be seen here compared to the current model. What do you think performance improvements might be like?Powertrain mule so any changes are under the hood. That’s the current TLX body.
If I had to guess, the V6 needs to make closer to 400 hp and the transmission needs some serious work to make it a true threat to its competitors. While the value is there overall for what you get it’s not enough for people to buy them in any great number. Most reviews say it handles like a dream but lacks grunt.Welcome to the forum. Prob not. Possible but I dont think Honda/Acura have a manual that bolts up to the 3.0T. DCT would be a good compromise if its at least as good as Audi/VW.This may be wishful thinking, but could there be a manual transmission on that mule?
The TLX with a manual would a fantastic addition to an already great car. But I have my doubts as well that Acura would do it. Has anyone out there tried to manual swap one?A manual would hark back to the TL Type-S of old, but small chance that'll happen.
I would buy it over the type s integra if they did make it in a manual. The TLX with a manual would a fantastic addition to an already great car. But I have my doubts as well that Acura would do it. Has anyone out there tried to manual swap one?
