I'm still sold on the Integra, how about everybody else?
There's a lot of reviewers who mention the Si power was underreported, and there must be a reason, right? Life is full of "results may vary" issues... but Honda being 10% off? That seems like a pretty big error that's going to cost Honda sales from "HP people", right? They keep mentioning that the 1.5 has been "uniquely tuned" for the Teggy, but I'm not sure what that means. Very curious. I know they underreported the hp on the Civic Si based on Hondata results, so I'm very interested in what the verdict will be when folks get to drive and review the car. I'm not holding out much hope that it will be much different, but I'm intrigued by the implication.
They actually announced official weights for each of the models, here's the full model guide: Acura Info CenterThe Integra is longer and wider and will also have extra sound deadening materials. So expect a couple hundred extra pounds on the Teggy. I think the "uniquely tuned" may just be referring to what they did with the exhaust pipe. But that's just my own personal speculation.
