They keep mentioning that the 1.5 has been "uniquely tuned" for the Teggy, but I'm not sure what that means. Very curious. I know they underreported the hp on the Civic Si based on Hondata results, so I'm very interested in what the verdict will be when folks get to drive and review the car. I'm not holding out much hope that it will be much different, but I'm intrigued by the implication.

There's a lot of reviewers who mention the Si power was underreported, and there must be a reason, right? Life is full of "results may vary" issues... but Honda being 10% off? That seems like a pretty big error that's going to cost Honda sales from "HP people", right?

I wondered if the 200hp was low for the Si intentionally so it's accurate for the Integra given extra weight... but there was a review that said the weight difference between the Si and Integra is approximately the weight of a passenger since the Integra is slightly smaller? Who knows.

The Integra is longer and wider and will also have extra sound deadening materials. So expect a couple hundred extra pounds on the Teggy. I think the "uniquely tuned" may just be referring to what they did with the exhaust pipe. But that's just my own personal speculation.

They might've added some extra sound-deadening materials, but the 6MT Integra is only 121lb heavier than this year's Si, and that's with the adaptive dampers and all the other additional features. It's only 75lb heavier than the Canadian Si, which has some of the additional features the Integra has which our Si lacks (digital dash, seat heaters, fog lamps) but a few extra things our Integra won't have (heated wheel, rear seat heaters). The CVT models are heavier, but that's transmission weight, they did a good job keeping the weight of this car down.
