Does anyone else have dimples/waves on their seats?

Hi all,

The attached dimple formed on the driver seat. The car has a little under 3k miles on it. I'm a slender guy at that so I don't have issues getting in/out and put force on the seat. I have no idea where it came from.

I'm scheduled to go to the dealership next week to get my squeaking seat checked out and will have them advise on this as well. I figure I want to ask the group anyways.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Does a hard part of the seat belt rest there when you're driving?

Nope. Nothing comes close to touching the area at all.
Just checked mine and I see the same.
Dang. How many miles do you have on your car? Are you going to take it in too? Out of all the cars I've had, I've never seen this before..including my 2010 TSX with 170K miles on it.

Got the car back in June 2022; only have like 4k miles lol. I haven't really noticed it til now especially since it's somewhere I don't really look. I may mention it at my next oil change, but not really sure if it's worth the trouble...

You drive it less than I do, lol. I got it in November 2022 and about to hit 3K soon. I drove it a lot last week since I'm in between jobs and won't get a new company car until tomorrow. I plan on keeping the Integra for years to come and it's bugging me now when I look at it. Not as bad as the squeaking seat though. Hopefully they can take care of both this week when I take it in.

Yea I get it lol. I also had the sticky steering wheel issue that I posted about and at least I "fixed" it for now by disconnecting apple carplay. I'm hoping the NHTSA investigation will find a more permanent fix. I hope this seat issue does bother me more haha. Does your passenger side also have this issue?

Let me know how it goes when you bring it to the dealer. Aside from replacing the whole seat, I wonder what else they could do?

The passenger side does not have it. I've had maybe a passenger sat in the car 3-4 times since I bought it.

I talked to the manager at the local Acura dealership a couple months ago. He said he's been with the company since the 80's and admitted the quality overall has declined to make ways for new tech while still keeping the prices competitive.

There's been times when I wondered if I should've put the extra money for the Lexus IS instead, lol.

I just hope this thing lasts as long as my TSX did. It was still running perfectly fine, but I couldn't pass the smog test last year so I just sold it to get the Integra.
Hey guys,

I picked up a loaner today. It has around 300 miles on it and it has the same dent, lol. This car is already beat up with marks and scratches on various panels. Poor car.
