Got a check engine

Got a check engine light, and dealer just diag'ed it as a DTC-P0456 evap system leak. Capless unit is leaking.
I think that means that the filler neck is not air tight. Obviously Honda is picking up the bill, which only looks to be 205.61
Wonder if this is a common issue, Honda quality is clearly not where it used to be. Although my CRV has the same capless system and has not had an issue.

I think this has occured several times. Not to me, but I've seem comments from other posters.
Good to know, hope the fix works. I’ll search for other posts on the subject. Thanks!
A lot of us have talked about this issue on IntegraForums--mine popped up last week at ~1,900 miles, but there's a lot of variation in mileage. The fuel opening says to leave the nozzle inserted for 5 seconds after you're done pumping, but not sure if that's even relevant to the issue.

I had the same issue they replaced the capless fuel nozzle part under warranty and no problems since. I did wait a while for the part to come like 2 months. I’ve also been extra careful not to twist the nozzle and to lift when I remove it and 5 sec after the pump stops. Minor annoyance but it’s somewhat common.

They did the same exact thing to mine. It took just two days, maybe parts availability is improving. Fingers crossed it doesn’t come back. Thanks for the info
