How is the microsuede holding up, especially Orchid?

Curious how the microsuede is doing after a few months of use. I saw an Apex Blue A-Spec in the showroom with the orchid interior, and it already had a pretty nasty black stain on the passenger seat.

Apparently people swear by this cleaner - curious how it works, especially on lighter interiors.

I have the red interior. At 1,600 miles it still looks brand new. I will order the Sonax though, looks like a good product. Thanks for sharing.

I've got the orchid... after 2000 miles it still looks great. Just ordered the Sonax cleaner. I'll post back here with my experience.

I just brought mine home today! Black interior and worried about keeping it clean and also a way to not have it pick up all the white lint! I too will be purchasing the cleaner, thank you!

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the Integra. What spec did you get?

Congratulations on getting your Integra @ALB013! How was it taking it home and driving it for the first time?

I have an Orchid interior and so far so good. In fact, on Day #1 with the car, my wife had a cut on her finger that started bleeding while she was sitting in the passenger seat. It left a pretty large red spot on the microsuede. I googled what to do, and suggestion said to wipe it down with a wet cloth. It totally worked and there is no sign of that red stain anymore. Will check out that Sonax cleaner now too. (I really like the seat comfort and the Orchid color.)

I just got integra A-spec tech Apex with orchid interior . I’m nervous it’s going to get filthy it such a gorgeous car inside and out . With all these upgrades I don’t they should have put suede in the front seats .

Congratulations on getting your Integra @austyn2aidan! Welcome to the forum! Some good interior cleaners would be good to have on standby just in case. But overall it seems like the orchid interior holds up nicely. What sold you on getting the Integra?
Yes, I hear ya. I have the orchid seats, too. As I understand it, the microsuede is in there to help keep you from slipping on the seats on sports turns, which is of course one of the fun parts of Integra driving. I'm only into my third month, but so far my seats are looking fine.

I did just now find a pretty good article about Adams polishes and cockpit brushes. I'm gonna order up one of the brushes for sure. They also give really good tips on what to do when you spill coffee, etc.

Here's the link to the Adams Polishes article - How to Care for and Clean Suede and Micro Suede Interior Surfaces

Six months in with my Blue/Orchid and the seats have held up better than I expected. Still not as easy as full leather would be, but not as bad as I feared.

Thank you! I am absolutely LOVING my new Integra! I did not want to part with my ILX and the espresso interior, but seriously this new Integra is awesome!
I have the red seats 2000 miles no wear but i see occasional lint and particles always get suck on the seats. Thats really annoying! No regrets on the red interior though since my first choice was all black interior but red has really grown on me
Exactly this - more more lint than stains so far on my Orchid. I was really hoping the Type S would have full leather to make up for the lost moonroof.
