Howdy all. Just joined though I ordered the Acura ASpec Tech 6MT in liquid carbon metallic (or whatever) a couple days after ordering opened. I'm down in Tucson and have been cross-shopping pretty much anything sporty with a manual transmission: WRX Limited (had one on order that came in but I cancelled after seeing some reviews, learning about the MPG, and sitting in an Outback with the same tablet-like center display and not loving it), BRZ and GR86 (love these, but pretty tight and lots of road noise/bumps with those awesome Pilot Sports; not sure I could stand that year over year), Mustang Ecoboost Premium (which was originally my first choice and now have to be ordred from Ford to get the 6MT), Camaro 6 cyl (which was a hoot but poor visibility and even poorer gas mileage, plus, you know, do I want to be the guy who drives a Camaro...?!

), Civic Si (which I drove and enjoyed but it's definitely missing some features and the $3K-$5K markup over MSRP is just silly), and used Audi A4 and A5. I almost pulled the trigger on a very low mileage 2018 Audi A5 coupe with 6MT, but would have had to fly or drive up to Portland from down here in Tucson, Arizona, and also Audi's long-term reliability worries me. I also previously had a VW GTI, which I loved, but looking forward to something new this time.
I'm an empty nester for all intents and purposes so two or four door is fine by me. Just want something fun to drive, manual transmission, relatively decent gas mileage, and smaller than my current Tacoma (which I also like a lot; it too is 6MT). The Integra fits the bill, as would the Nissan Z when available. So much depends on my patience... or lack thereof.
Last I heard my Integra is due in July.
I'll close by saying that, for the record, I love the red seats! I'd prefer the blue with the red seats but my wife tells me that's too garish. She's right, no doubt, and I do love the dark metallic gray, as well.
Thanks for letting me check in, and nice to meet ya'll.
