Hey everyone!

I was curious about other folks experiences with their Integras so far and if you've had any issues. Personally I've really enjoyed the vehicle driving-wise since delivery in early June. I use it as a daily driver and it feels very comfortable and convenient compared to my last vehicle (can't go back to a sedan!). Unfortunately for me the start stop button was completely scratched up and the cup holder had noticeable deep scratches in them on pickup. The dealership finally was able to get the parts to replace them today but after they replaced the parts, the steering wheel began creaking and now I have an MDX as a loaner car ¯\(ツ)/¯. With this being a brand new car, I didn't expect to have to deal with these issues. How has everyone else's experiences been? Has anyone had to replace anything as well?

Thanks!

Hey @Pacman welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about the issues with your Integra. Has the dealership told you the issue with the steering wheel?
Thanks! They have not. Initially they thought it was normal but I had to do a comparison between mine and their demo vehicle and it's noticeable. I'm thinking it is related to them swapping out the start/stop button but who knows. Hope to get it back asap. Stressful letting them keep it and having to take it apart. I guess its early adopter problems lol.

Definitely keep us posted! Still waiting on delivery and actually making the purchase, though one of the few dealer options I'm requesting is the heated steering wheel, so I'll be mindful of creaks and rattles once it's installed. Hopefully they can resolve the issue for you.

I don't have much experience with this (yet), but I would assume that although creaks and rattles may come along with the territory with new models and early adopters, if Acura is hoping that this will be the entry into the brand (like most entry-level "luxury" cars), hopefully the dealerships will take care of new buyers.

Will do! I will say it had been great up until today post servicing. Only started happening after they replaced the two pieces... Don't want to place the blame on the service department but it can't be a coincidence that it started after they replaced something that is near the general steering wheel area.

Turns out the airbag was rubbing against the interior when the wheel is turning. The techs said they had run into the same issues with the MDX before so glad they were able to fix without much problem. Hope no one has the same issues!

I’m having a hard time with the dealership, saying that it didn’t come with 2yr maintenance. Also the cable came detached so my hood doesn’t open with the latch. Will have to take it in soon. Have had it almost a week.

Found the following on the official Acura website. Now the "Acura Maintenance Program Participant Dealer" might be their excuse to get out of it (if dealership is not listed).

The finance guy is giving me the run around but I called service and the said it’s all of them. Then when u go into the specs under warranty it’s like part of the warranty.
Hopefully they honor the maintenance plan (which they should).
As an alternative (if possible), use any other dealership near you.

Now, as for the experience itself, you can submit an email using their customer experience online forms.
They have an option for "Dealer Experience", and from my own experience using these forms, they answer promptly.

How was the replacement ignition button? I got my replaced and it's still scratched. Service also told me it came like that.

After replacement mine is scratch free (from what I can tell). I hope you get yours resolved! I can't imagine even the dealership would find the replacement one acceptable. I'm not sure if mine was scratched from the dealership before delivery or if it came like that from the factory.
