Hi there everyone I took delivery of my 2023 acura integra a spec elite and I let a friend use it and he then hit the side when trying to park. I got quoted 2200 on the repair however the auto body shop recommended trying to find a replacement door as that would be cheaper. It is the driver side rear door in blue any leads would be very very helpful! or suggestions on what I should be doing I am in Canada and as winter is approaching rust is a very big concern

Welcome to the forum @zaju1232111! Really sorry to hear about what happened to your Integra. With the Integra being so new your best bet would be trying to reach out to your dealer or Acura to see how much a replacement would be. Have you gone to other shops for different quotes? Maybe you can find something a bit less expensive?

I'd check w/ one of those dent repair guys to see what kind of magic they could work and then have a body shop repair the paint. Probably a bit cheaper and you get to keep your car nearly 100% original, with the exception to the paint.
