Hi all,
Got my new Integra last week - it's definitely a great car.
For me, it's directly replacing a 2022 Civic SI (also Blue).

I made the switch mainly for the Comfort setting / adjustable suspension option.
I did love the Civic SI drive, but not the constant jarring from small road bumps.

The Integra is also a return to Acura for me - I drove a manual 2006 TSX for
16 years and 200K miles before switching to the SI last year.

Also, my wife refused to take a drive in the SI, but actually loves taking drives
in the Integra. So, Integra = Happy Wife = Happy Life!

I LOVED my 07 Artic Blue TSX 6MT. I've had my Blue Orchid 6MT Integra since September and am really enjoying it.

Once you get some miles, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the nuiances between the Si and Integra. I put deposits on both and the Integra showed up first. The Si seems like a better value (at sticker) but the Integra a better car. In hindsight, I'm glad the Integra arrived first.

What are your opinions on the interior compared to the SI?
I find the interiors in many ways to be quite similar. The seats in the Integra are much more to my liking in terms of comfort, but still give good support for the "fun" driving on the curvy roads. At first I thought I'd prefer the red seats in the Integra, but have come to like the Ivory / white seats quite a bit. I also like the back seats in the Integra much better than the SI. The electronics are pretty similar, though again, the Integra has better rear cameras and I really like the display you get when you're on the highway with the cruise control. Really cool how it shows the vehicle in front of you plus on the left and right lanes (if you're in the middle lane...). The Comfort mode ride is also a really great option to have, especially mixed with the sport power and steering options in Individual mode.

In sum, the Integra is a bit plusher and more comfortable than the SI on the inside and for me anyway, offers just as much driving fun. That said, the SI definitely has a more rough and ready feel. But all in all, I'm glad I made the switch to the Integra. I do have to chuckle at one of the review videos that says the SI is for your 20's and the Integra for people in their 30's; I'm turning 70 in two weeks, so I guess I can say that the SI was for my 60's, the Integra for my 70's (and beyond!).

Hey there! Greetings from another Teggy owner with the Apex Blue/Orchid interior!

I liked your remarks because they're similar to the reasons why I chose my car. My previous car was a leased 2020 Civic Si which had the heated seats, adjustable suspension, dual zone climate, fog lights and other equipment. In south Florida, some of the equipment doesn't get used often but it does come in handy during the few times we get heavy morning fog or very cold weather. I was very glad to have them.

Then . . . Honda redesigned the Civic Si and took some of the equipment out and put it in the Integra. I was very upset by this because what was left in the Si didn't make it a strong selling point aside from added power and more aggressive handling. I really liked my Si the way it was. I would have kept it and called it a day but the clearcoat was separating from the paint on one of the doors. The dealership was of no help since they either couldn't or wouldn't handle the paint issue. Needless to say, it was sore spot for me for the entire time I had the car.

I decided to take a look at the Intergra and I thought it was the better choice. It is more expensive but you get more refinement on top of what is already a great design and you get free maintenance that Honda doesn't offer. I had a better feeling from the dealership as well, so I'm hoping this will be a long-time relationship to build. I'm one of the few who chose my car on more subjective criteria. I already had previous experience in an Si and I expected something more than just extra power. Don't get me wrong. I love the power and the handling of my Intergra. The Sport mode especially seems to wake up an altered personality in the car. I have unexpectedly chirped or screeched tires from a standing start and it becomes a very EAGER machine to drive. It's quieter, more comfortable and more refined without separating you from the driving experience. It's more flexible to more people in terms of seating comfort and ride quality. Making it longer and wider than the Civic, I think, contributes to that.

You say your wife likes the drive in it and I suppose that's what makes the whole ownership experience worth it LOL. I never would have considered the Integra if Honda hadn't changed the Civic Si the way it did. I'm actually happy that I stepped up to something that I think is better for me. It looks like you did the same too. Here's hoping you have many years of happy driving with a happy wife!

My story is similar. Partner wouldn’t drive with me in my tiny and bumpier-riding Honda CR-Z, but happily climbs into my Blue/Orchid 6MT Integra. She can drive stick but doesn’t want to, so she’s not going to steal my ride :) I’m 57 and this is my second Acura. The other was the 1st Gen. Integra, 36 yrs ago.

We are really enjoying our Performance Red/Orchid 6MT. We too are previous Integra owners with 2 separate 2nd Gen LS coupes in the early 90s. To our minds, there seems to be more than a little of that old Integra DNA in this car, especially how it drives/sounds.

I think its very ironic reading through the posters on here. Most of the new owners are of a certain "vintage" LOL with many of us having experienced the original Integra in some flavor. I'm no different. I've been through a number of cars (last one was a Maxima) but in my case - with kids out of our "collective" hair, etc., it was time to get a manual transmission car before they disappear. So a 6 speed Liquid Carbon Teggy is sitting in my driveway now. Admittedly, if I was in a southern climate with no major weather concerns besides rain, it could have been a Mustang GT......but 60+ inches of snow on avg in the upper midwest means no mustang as a daily driver.....or in my case, something with front wheel drive and snow tires!!!! And so far, its been excellent though the all weather tires are crap......I will change them out before next winter.
