My wish list:

1. Type S model: 2.0T with 6-speed manual or 10 speed automatic from TLX (with limited slip diff)
2. Option for real leather seats
3. Rear AC vents
4. Rear door soft touch materials

I hope the Type-S also comes with 18" wheels, because if they put 19's on as standard, there won't be enough sidewall to handle snow belt potholes.

I snagged a ‘23 and told my salesman if the type S had the 2.0, 6sp, and awd that I’d upgrade
-rear vent
-cooled seats
-optional black roof
-2.0t
-Type r gearbox
-SHAWD

The top trim should include a rear wiper, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel. It would be nice to have a spare tire come standard instead of the fix a flat.

I’m in CT and could certainly see the value of a heated wheel but I’be also never had one and could easy see past that as simply a dealer option. If it was a choice between increase the msrp by 800 or keep ur as an option, I choose the latter

I’m a real old timer - in my day, only the Swedish cars had heated seats. My recollection of all 5 year old Volvos back then having severely cracked leather seats on the driver side makes me avoid turning the seat heaters on (I have leather seats) unless it is crazy cold. But with the fake leather/ suede that the integras have, this wouldn’t be a problem. I also don’t see a point in a heated steering wheel either especially since that is real leather. And since the Canadian models already have heated rear seats, it certainly would be easy enough to add.

But since the Integra is on the Civic platform wouldn't that be a bit more complicated to give it AWD?

I think it’s an oversight either way
Whether it’s a 2k option or 4k option isn’t really critical to me so much as the general package that we’re likely getting and it’s price point. Compared to the “performance” luxury competitors in the 40k range it’s the only one without it.
All the German cars won’t come as well equipped from a tech perspective at their entry prices but, on paper, all will have a better drivetrain offering consisting of awd and (probably) more power. If the Acura type S is 42900 and 285hp and the S3 is 45,900 with AWD and 306hp - i don’t believe the els audio and 3k are enough to compel these particular buyers. I’d guess they’re competing w/ themselves at that point more than stealing share from competitors. They will sell to folks who can’t get the CTR or don’t want the boy racer wing.
That said, if they came out and said ~45k for the type S and it was 285hp, ctr 6speed, sh-awd (plus some bigger brakes and the little performance things that complete the package) I’d put a deposit down today and start conserving miles on my ‘23 to maximize trade value lol - I wouldn’t really need anything else (rear ac vent, cooled front seats, wider fenders, etc)

Oh yeah - one huge oversight I’m hoping they deliver via a simple software upgrade - keep me in individual mode until I select something else! So irritating… especially when I’ve turned off idle stop in individual mode. You stop to get gas and hop into a different car

I think that's by design, because the automakers get CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) credits from the EPA for including auto-start/stop systems in their cars, but to get the credit, you can't permanently defeat the system. If they allowed you to stay in Individual permanently and the Individual has a setting to turn off auto-start/stop, they'd loose the credit.

to me that makes the individual mode damn near useless
any driver/buyer would expect it to behave like any other mode, especially when it's really just a mix of the elements in those modes - if adding the ability to turn off auto stop/start is the reason they never should have put it in there in the first place. Nothing like stopping for gas and having your throttle mapping be different when you start the car back up.... terrible experience

I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for a Type S or Type S equivalent model for the Integra. I hope Honda/Acura have been watching Toyota with the GR Corolla and want a piece of that pie.
