ordered 7/12 still no update!!
my dealership put in a factory order on 7/12. It has now been over 6 weeks (almost 7) and I haven't heard anything. Is this a normal time frame? I was told 2 months from order date to have my car delivered, is anyone else in a similar situation?

a spec tech, I live near the Philly area and checked within 100 miles and can’t find anything close to me. You haven’t heard anything, did you ask the dealer? They can look up and see if your car has a build date assigned and if that’s been pushed back at all. Another member here said his car’s been built but there’s a shipping delay right now.
As for normal or not, don’t know. I ordered my ASpec Tech 6MT on April 20 and got it last week. The order was accepted by Acura pretty soon and originally scheduled to be built the first half of June. That got pushed back to July then August. But every time I texted my salesman he would let me know what he saw in the order system.

Yeah 4 months was long, but that's probably the worst case scenario. I made my reservation a month after they opened in March. That entire first preorder batch was spoken for before I even got in line. I wanted a color (red+ebony) they weren't building in the initial production anyways, so told the dealer I'd wait for red. 4 months is actually what I expected when I decided I'd put a deposit on the car back in April. I figured I could get in line or hope the line gets shorter. Glad I got in line.
You can definitely check with other dealers to see if they've got anything coming in sooner, but if Acura accepted your factory order to your dealership and it's what you want, don't get out of that line unless you buy another car.
Waiting on a 6MT? I got on a waiting list at the beginning of June after the dealer I reserved with initially wanted $52,XXX out the door for an Integra! Still no build date for me. I'm also in the Philadelphia area.
I was one of the first 500, and I'm still waiting.
I ordered mine in March and received at the end of July. I recommend staying in close contact with the dealer!
Dude they’re criminals in PA. Try the Jersey dealerships I ordered at MSRP. I finally got update of late October delivery.Waiting on a 6MT? In Minneapolis. Ordered aSpec tech in gray with red the first week in June. Now being told the build may be in November or December. Yet same exact car sent to Chicago and Texas with no buyer for it. Taking a black on black because that is only choice in the near future. Being told by the dealer that it's how Acura's production lines work. 6+ months since I ordered until i can pick up - assuming it isn't pushed back again! Don't existing customers who put money down and placed orders deserve any love from Acura?

Picking up this week. Just bummed that the one I ordered was delayed until at least December arrival to dealer at the earliest. Need earlier and was originally told it would be September.

exactly my thought, I see them popping up all around me as im still waiting. I finally got a build date of October 3rd-7th. Well see how that goes if its not shipped by October 10th I may just get a white one myself as they are popping up now at dealerships. The grey seems to be by far the most desirable. It should never take this long though I don't care what is going on in the world lol
I bought the black one. No red leather either, just black. Actually looks fantastic in black - super sparkly in the sun. I had just been avoiding black because I park in an underground garage and there is always a layer of dust floating around. My cars have constantly looked a bit dirty.
