I can't vouch for the credibility of this guy, but on the Temple of Vtec forum, I found a video where a TLX Type-S owner and self-professed Honda/Acura geek mentions that folks should watch out for an announcement from Acura on July 1st that they're going to like:

You can fast forward to the 10:20 mark:

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe Acura will be announcing the name of the new Cadillac Lyriq based electric SUV they're planning to launch, but I think a Type-S Integra is more likely.

I am torn on this. I do plan on upgrading to a Type-S but I also just got my Integra less than a month ago. Hopefully its an announcement for an announcement of a car being released next summer/fall so I wont have to feel so bad about jumping the gun.

The Integra will be around for a while. Maybe you can keep your car for 3-5 years, and after the mid-cycle refresh and dealer price gouging has calmed down, you can trade up in a few years.

I can almost guarantee it’s going to not be integra related. They still have the PMC’s to introduce
So a PMC MDX? That's kind of boring, but seems reasonable. I wonder how much longer they'll wait to announce the Integra Type-S though, given that the original leaked roadmap showed the Integra Type-S was accretive to sales in 2022?

Use Honda as a guide. How long between the Civic release and Si. We should see something late summer early fall if Acura is dropping the ITs and then a late 2022, early 2023 arrival

but given the market and how things are I wouldn’t be surprised to see a delay of cara being delivered until a full year after the integra release
