I agree that the color palette is boring to start. I am most incensed that they charge $500 for the pleasure. Mazda charges that for Soul Red, which looks amazing - way better than the colors Acura started with. If they had offered yellow, I would have preordered that hands down. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have to say... I've had a lot of time to think this over, and at this point, my favorite color is whichever one is available for purchase at MSRP. Six-speed manual, please. 😤

I find Apex Blue a little loud for this car, but to each their own. Performance Red looks great but seems to be the hardest color to come by. Black does too much to hide the body lines. I'd rank:

1. Performance Red
2. Liquid Carbon
3. Platinum White
4. Apex Blue
5. Lunar Silver
6. Majestic Black

I agree on your Black and White opinions. The black hides way too much. I’m not generally a fan of white but it looks good on this car. I’d still put Blue and Red on top though. I’m days away from picking up my Performance Red, but sometimes think I should have gone with Apex Blue. Too late to change it now and even if I changed my mind now, no way I’m waiting another 4 months.

I put zero stock in anything “written” on Jalopnik, it is clickbait garbage. He looked at the different colors on the website and made a list with a sentence each to display his ignorance. Without seeing these colors in person you can’t begin to judge them. I haven’t seen lunar silver or performance red in person so I can only judge the others. I agree with you Leehro, I really like the red and blue. I didn’t choose either because the all black interior didn’t do enough for me, and the orchid makes me nervous about keeping it clean. The white pearl is really very good in person, and is a classic Integra combo with the red interior. You can’t go wrong with this color palette, it isn’t the most adventurous but it’s also not trendy where down the road they will look dated.

I saw my Performance Red today - the car I reserved 4 months ago finally arrived at the dealer. It was fresh off the truck and not clean but it still looked good. Can’t wait to see it clean and shiny. I admit the Apex Blue is the best color but have no complaints about my red.

I really wish red was one of the reservation colors because I would have gone for red outside before red inside lol

Still waiting for our Red/Orchid 6MT. They are finally starting to show up at some dealers, just not around our area yet (or more importantly, at our dealer). We ordered ours 5/30 and were told August-November delivery time frame.
