Since it's my daily driver/family car I don't think I will do any mods on it. I like the car as it is. Feels very good at 80-85 miles on the highway, noise isolation is good and the seats are pretty comfy with good support on the sides. People say that it's just an expensive Civic but I think there are some major differences that make sense to put more money on it. Overall it's well built (minus some missalignments) with good materials compared to other brands at the same price range. Initialy I wanted to get Giulia as I drove most of the performance Alfa Romeo's for the past 15 years and kinda fell in love with the brand but here in US there is no manual Giulia, even the QV is AT. Long story short I went for a test drive in Acura and just said to myself - why not ? Car is decent, drives nice, it has everything I need, plenty of space, amazing audio system, etc. I was well aware it has nothing in common with the old Integra from the 90s which I totally love, but in the end of the day it's a family car that I WILL NOT throw left and right into every turn like my previous cars...aaaand I changed my behaviour behind the wheel. For a quite some time the gearbox felt a bit weird but I got used to it. Shifter is lovely, tho! I am fairly new to the Acura brand and it's about time to learn more about the engines and opportunities for mods and accessories. Hopefully I will find this info here. Anybody did any interesting stuff to their Integra's ?
PS - I am not gonna lie that the first 2 weeks I got this little devil on my shoulder whispering a whole list of ideas like ... open the hood, put bigger turbo, change the exhaust, work on ECU, squeeze more power, change the rims and put semi-slick tyres, get rid of the back seats, put some anti-roll bars, work on brakes and suspension, throw out the AC... but I left that devil for the future weekend car, GR 86 maybe ?
