Well, for me, everything about owning and driving an Integra beats an SUV. But that's me - a retired male who has driven manuals since age 16 and finds the Integra 6MT totally fun and enjoyable. All that said, my wife totally loves her huge KIA Sorento SUV and all the comfort it provides. But she does like the occasional ride in my Integra, too. So, I'd say to each his/her own. For me, it's Integra all the way.

Suv seems to be the trend right now, everyone is looking for one. But not me! The back trunk room in the integra is plentiful and I also like the looks and feel of the integra when I drive. U go test drive it and see what it does for you. For me i test drove a lot of cars and prefer the Integra

I did trade in an SUV (MDX) for my Integra. I didn’t really need the space and wanted a car-shaped-car that was fun to drive with a manual transmission. I never really saw the appeal of small SUVs and wish they still made wagons.

Great point Russ. But I'm convinced most people don't buy what they need, it's what they want, and how they want to look. Consider the popularity of pickup trucks as well as SUVs.

All I can add is lower load height if using a roof rack.
I’ve never been successful convincing people to buy wagons or convincing them away from SUVs/crossovers, so I married a wagon lover.

Need vs want is always skewed. I wanted a 6MT and a Civic Hatch would have fulfilled the actual need.....but I own an Integra. @Slowcarfast - I have a wagon soft spot (owned both Ford Flex and Buick regal tourx) - if I had seriously disposable cash - Audi RS-6 would be in my driveway right now. But for me - Integra provides just enough hauling capacity/gas mileage/fun that puts it ahead of an SUV. Plus - I miss rowing my own gears and unless I buy a Jeep, there isn't much out there. I decided to get a 6MT before they disappear.

Manual transmission, and handling characteristics, other than that an SUV is a lot more practical. I have two CRVs one 5 speed ‘06 and ‘17. Was going to but a Pilot, but when I saw the integra coming out I could not pass up. Having had it since Sept, its pretty practical, I need 4 doors and the trunk is very spacious

I would say gas mileage would be one. I average 35mpg with a combination of City/highway/back roads driving and this is using 87 octane gas exclusively.

Totally. I got 20mpg in my MDX with premium. Before I traded it in I was paying $80-90 to fill up and go 360 miles. Integra with its much smaller tank beats that range and I’ve never spent more than $40 filling it up. Obviously there are many reasons…

Ouch, now I don’t feel as bad about our RDX getting 22mpg with 87 octane.
