Yes but no. I'm a fan of the Prelude, a buddy had one as his fun car for years. But people don't buy coupes. Auto makers need volume to drive profitability. And Honda has a halo car with a CTR.
The car buying public wants compact/subcompact crossovers, right or wrong.
There are many coupes out there to have still, but a manual trans is missing. I had to pass on the Gen 11 because I just don’t need four or five doors for this vehicle in our stable. The Integra especially, what a boat. Great if your only vehicle but the Gen 11 sedans and hatches missed what we needed in a more manuverable easily parked and economical ride.
This Prelude would fit the bill fine but smaller cars and trucks are not what they want to sell or what folks want as their only car.
When I drive around I see tons of coupes of all sizes but none are new. We have a Tundra and Tacoma and love ‘em but sometimes the freedom of a small ride is very nice.
