Space Saver Spare Tire kit

Tire Wheel Automotive tire Tread Hubcap

...looking to go on a road trip soon, but would like to have a little assurance re: a potential sidewall puncture that the included tire repair kit cant handle, without roadside assistance.
This kit seems affordable, but is, I believe lacking a spare tire hold-down screw assembly to keep the spare tire firmly secured. Modern Spare has a kit also, for more $. Thoughts....?

Knowing what I know now, i prob would have done it differently, but here is what I did...
Tire and wheel, with hold don lug from 2022 accord-75.00
tools with the round foam from 2021 civic- 50.00.
I cut the foam that held the infiltrator. It was a pain to get it to the right height, but it is working great, and the top fits flush...

Got an email from alldiscountparts saying the items I ordered (wheel, foam, spacers, anchor, and bolt) have an ETA to their warehouse of April 4. That's more promising than the BACKORDER email I got when I tried to order the 06421-3S5-A10 kit. So fingers crossed that in a few more days I'll have those things on the way.
Just got my shipping confirmation and tracking number for this, so it's on the way.

Also curious if anyone tried ordering from DreamShop ? They have the 06421-3S5-A10 kit listed under "accessories" (not parts). I assume they're stuck with the same supply issues as the rest, but didn't see it mentioned yet.
I actually tried to order the kit from DreamShop a few days ago in case it just happened to be a silver bullet and I could return the rest of the stuff. Selected my local Acura dealer for pickup. Unsurprisingly they called to say it was backordered, they have orders waiting since September and now expect it in May. I'm not waiting anymore obviously, but wanted to share that.

My order for wheel, foam, anchor and bolt was delivered a few minutes ago. The spacers are still on order so they weren't included in this shipment. Due to the size and fragility of the foam, they packed it upright in a very large box covered it with "Fragile" stickers, and padded with small cardboard boxes and bubble wrap. Seems to have survived the trip.

For the donut tire, I thought that would be the easy last step. I found a T125/80R17 99M at Discount Tire and figured I'd just order it online for a local store and bring my wheel in to get it mounted. Their website wouldn't let me order it (since it doesn't match the wheel size for the car, and it wouldn't let me order without entering a car), so I called my local store. They said the tire is backordered (getting sick of that word), but they found another store (in GA) that had 1 and would FedEx it to my store (in NC). So that's supposed to be there Thursday. Tire is $125, plus tax and installation is $162.

Got my spare tire mounted and I'll test it on the car this weekend. The spacers (74685-TBA-A00) haven't shipped, so I just asked to cancel that. Doesn't seem necessary and I think ordering 3 was a mistake.

So here's the whole list. I took off the spacers and the Spare Tire Bolt. The anchor part includes the bolt so no need to order it separately.

If I had to do it again and the kit's still not available, I'd probably skip the box trunk tool. It's an $85 piece of styrofoam. Instead I could just make a pad out of several layers of cardboard to support the trunk floor. I've got plenty of cardboard from this order. I'll post some pictures of that later. The rest of it I'm happy with. Of course if the kit's available, that should save about $200.

My guess would be that those spacers are more for minimizing movement of the spare tire or simply to keep it from rubbing up against the paint.
Spacers just showed up. Guess I wasn’t quick enough to cancel before they shipped so I’ll just use them. Way overpriced though, part of me thinks they’re supposed to come 3 for $20 and that would still be a lot.

Do we know if the tire is included in the Kit. I think that the tire is extra. Even if overpaid, the peace of mind in having a spare is work $200 in my book.

The kit does not include the rubber. So if you got that for $176 MSRP, then spent the same $163 on tire and installation, that’s $339 all-in. So, comparing to my $545 that’s where I figured the $200.

And actually my total was about $600 since the spacers shipped before I could cancel them.
this looks like a better deal than the modern spare version. The only issue you may find is the space between the spare and the trunk carpeting. Without something there, it will sag. Acura does sell a piece of foam for 100.00....
Do you happen to remember that part number?
Thank you to EVERYONE who did all the heavy lifting in locking down all the parts needed. I now have a proper spare (135/80x17) and tools stored in my 2023 Integra with the proper tool-holding panel.
You all ROCK!!
