ThatDudeinBlue released a new video where he shares his thoughts on the Integra Type S announcement. In short, he's still not really a fan of the Integra and what the Type S' price will likely be. However he is more optimistic about the Type S than the current models.

He's not the least tolerable person in the YouTube car review community, but he's pretty click bait-y. If you look through his feed, you'll notice a lot of "this doesn't look good" or this and that is "ruined".

For him to give a positive review of a vehicle, it has to be tuned and modified to the extreme. I'm not sure he's going to love anything stock.

Yeah this guy kinda rubs me the wrong way. Nothing wrong with loving the DC2 or wanting more out of a car, but the "I spoke to the folks at Acura and tHeY jUsT dOn'T gEt It!!!!!!1!!one" is tiresome and it seems a bit disingenuous. Complaints get clicks.

Ugh ain't that the truth--"Let me tell you about all the reasons why I don't like such and such and how it's going to SPELL DOOM for whatever it is I'm ranting about... also, smash that Subscribe button below for more great content."

Yup. I am also pretty convinced that all of the folks posting "the Type-S is going to be a rip-off, just get a CTR" on the Integra facebook page are the same people posting "lol all the A-Spec 6MT buyers should have waited, bet you all feel pretty dumb right about now."

Now that I think of it, there's probably significant overlap with the folks insisting that the Integra is too slow. (I can only assume that these people have ready access to a decommissioned airport runway and/or somehow make a living doing stoplight pulls.)

Not to be hyperbolic, but perhaps the internet was a mistake?

That's right! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go enjoy my grandpa-spec Integra and tell everyone how not mad I am. GET OFF MY LAWN

Last week I found myself dumbfounded by the number of celebrities who drive the 1,200hp Bugatti Veyron, mainly because I genuinely think there are several of them who wouldn't be able to figure out how to get out of their shoes if you double-knotted them. The Internet is a terrible place.

"This 1997 Ford Taurus that puts down 782whp is the HILARIOUS daily we've always wanted."
Automotive YouTube over ten years ago was about passion. Automotive YouTube nowadays is about being the right person in the room because every car guy thinks they're an expert. I bet half of Automotive YouTube wouldn't exist if money and/or influence weren't involved. These car guys only surround themselves with other car guys to the point that they're oblivious to how small the percentage of car enthusiasts there is in the entire driving population.
