Mine was 91 Accord as well but mine was a 2 door 5MT and bought when it was 7 years old. Only lasted 10 months when a drunk driver turned in front of me (luckily no one was hurt). I was able to replace it with another 91 5MT that I had for 5 more years. I loved both of those cars.

For me it was a used 1992 Ford Escort that despite looking like a mess lasted me a solid 5 years before biting the dust.

Mine was a used 1991 Ford Escort, 2-door hatchback. I totaled it a couple months later and soon replaced it with a used 1992 Ford Probe.

1969 Dodge Coronet. I only drove it a couple of years in college. I bought it from a friend for $100 because it had been run into by a mobile home. To replace it, my parents helped my buy a new 1982 Plymouth Horizon TC3 Turismo when I graduated college. Definitely a malaise era car, but still very special to me. My first Honda was a 96 Odyssey that replaced a Grand Caravan.

93 Honda Civic dx (I think) that I paid $1500 for. Miss those days.

It was eventually stolen from me and found over a month later in a commercial parking lot. Tons of parts were missing including the dashboard. At the time, I was couch surfing and basically living out of it and all my clothes were stolen from it. That car went through a lot.

150 HP it was great for high school, but so many problems down the road I think I only kept it for 2 years and a bit.

I never bought domestic after that 😜 Honda/Acura only (and 1 Subaru) lol

A buddy I sold it too painted it matte black and converted it to 5spd !

I also had a 1995, but a base model. Also a turning point for me. Prior to the neon I owned five different domestic cars. Three Mopar, and two Ford. Since then, it's been all imports, 10 of them. The neon had some good aspects, but not really a good car. It has the distinction of being totalled twice. Once by a hailstorm, and then again by a hit and run in my neighborhood. A brand new Lexus LS430.

74 Ford Maverick. Paid $400 for it in 83. Man did I beat that car up. It got so bad I used my surf racks to start the car by hitting the solenoid and battery at the same time. I also replaced the radiator, but after I installed it realized it was too big to close the hood. I just used some rope to keep it closed. High School in the 80's was something else.

My first ever car was Ford Fiesta that was given to me by my late grandfather. The car had a lot of problems due to old age but my husband and I were able to fix it and bought a lot of parts and accessories online. We rarely use it nowadays since we want to preserve it.

1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, got it for $2700 in 2001 dollars. Drove it 2001-2005. Haven't owned a GM vehicle since, it was cheap but not very reliable transportation.

My uncle's favorite car, a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, which I drive has a noisy engine, rattling from the rear, gearbox issues, and broken headlights. The R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R would naturally be included on our list of famous gear because it not only competes with some of the greatest Japanese sports cars ever, but it was also a legendary and incredibly capable vehicle in its own right. It worked well for me on the cars that were best suited to tuning. With a straightforward remap, the car's engine can be increased in power from 276 hp to 400 hp, and today, some GT-Rs roam the streets with 800 or even 1000 hp under the hood.

My first car was a 1976 Chevrolet Impala station wagon with the motorized rear window and tailgate. It was white and a hand-me-down vehicle when I turned 16. My dad wasn't big on taking care of cars, so I inherited a few problems that arose later on. It also had a big gaping hole in the grille courtesy of an indecisive driver that surprised my mom a couple years before. She ran into his rear bumper. The damned thing was an eyesore, nor did it help that I was in high school at the time. Eventually the transmission stopped shifting and the car was sold.
