So I've found that the windshield washer is pretty useless for clearing frost in the morning with the way it only turns on during the up-stroke, and doesn't cover much of the windshield with the fluid.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this? I imagine it'll only get worse once I'm dealing with actual ice.

I’ve done a Rain X treatment before the first snow, because it comes off better from that in my experience. Otherwise, I got a windshield cover from Amazon and wrestled with it before ice/snow every night. Sucks the washers are ineffectual on frost 😑
