Yet every mechanic that has been around long enough will vouch for buying a Honda or Acura.

I'm taking this list with a grain of salt.

Based on their methodolgy, I'm suprised Acura isn't lower.

They evaluate:
  • Exterior
  • Driving Experience
  • Features/Controls/Displays (FCD)
  • Driving Assistance
  • Infotainment
  • Seats
  • Climate
  • Interior
  • Powertrain
The absolute dogshit infotainment system used in the RDX and TLX should be cratering Acura's scores. The intercooler limp-mode issues with the 2.0T certainly don't help either. Then there's the build quality issues: pano roof popping, rear tailgate window shattering, tailgate creaking, poor panel gaps, etc.

I stopped by and checked out the new Accord today when I was driving past a Honda dealership, and I saw two different cars with shockingly bad fit and finish issues, so bad that I can't believe they made it out of final inspection in the Marysville OH plant. Honda needs to wake up and fix this stuff. My 2003 Accord had absolutely flawless fit and finish.
